- This reminds me of Circuit City offering to "install" backwards compatibility on your Xbox 360 for ... I think it was $30 also.
Best Buy, one of the leading electronics retail stores in the United States, has decided to help some of their not so technically savvy customers. When purchasing an Xbox 360, customers can have the equipment installed by the Best Buy Geek Squad for an additional $30. The service will include a walkthrough of how to set up parental controls to your specifications, how to download updates and how to create user accounts for different members of your family.
Setting up video game systems can sometimes be confusing, and even the tech savvy among us may not know how to set up parental controls, which are often hard to find. For parents worried about such issues, the cost of the walkthrough may be well worth it.
